EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A local dog has become a bit of a local celebrity after finding success at the Westminster Dog Show.
Moses, a 10-year-old Border Collie mix, competed in the agility competition at the show last week, making it all the way to the finals. Moses also brought home honors as the Top All-American Dog.
“They said you’ve won this Top All-American Award, go get him you have to be out here for pictures. Everything just all happened so fast, we really didn’t even have time to think about it,” said owner and trainer Jordan York. “He’s taught me a lot, I’ve learned a lot, I’ve been humbled by him and kind of spoiled by him too. He’s not out there to win, he’s out there just to have a good time, and that’s what makes it so fun.”
Moses was the second oldest dog in the competition. He trains at Metro Sports Center on Evansville’s east side.
