Local school system pushes to make free lunches permanent


WARRICK CO., Ind (WEHT) Warrick County Schools is pushing to permanently expand the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program to provide free meals to every student.

WCS Nutrition Director Shenae Rowe has been leading the local school program through the pandemic. All students in the district have been receiving free meals during this time. As Rowe tells Shelley Kirk, she believes the program should continue for every student in the nation.
