EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- Coronavirus tests are being done every day, but the time it takes to get results back varies. The State of Indiana set up a mobile drive-thru clinic in Evansville for essential workers on April 13th.
The people who were tested were told they’d have their results back in 72 hours. But at least one person waited much longer than that and although his results were negative- it took almost two weeks to learn that.
“In this day and time you can’t take anything for granted and you just really should know, if you have a test out there you need to know the results and you need to know before 13 days,” Earl Milligan says.
Milligan says he recommends anyone who is in a similar situation reach out to the state department of health directly and ask for your results.
