MEXICO CITY (WEHT) – Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch spent Monday and Tuesday in Mexico City meeting with Mexican officials.
Crouch met with the Mexican Undersecretary of North America about Indiana-Mexico trade.
The highlight of the trip was signing a letter of intent between Crouch and the Mexican State of Hidalgo’s Secretary of Interior Simon Vargas Aguilar.
The agreement calls for more cooperation in areas like agriculture.
Crouch said signing the letter with Hidalgo is a win for both states and she looks forward to capitalizing on this opportunity.
