Man arrested in connection to Madisonville shooting that left 2 dead

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEHT)- A Madisonville man has been arrested in connection to a Monday morning shooting that killed two men and seriously injured another.

Madisonville Police found Elvis Gipson, 43, and Joseph Gipson, 40, dead in a home on Hodge Street during a welfare check. A third person, Gunner Madison, 26, had life threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital.

Police charged Jeremy Wicks, 36, of Madisonville with two counts of murder, assault in the first degree along with weapon and multiple drug charges. Police say they were able to recover several pieces of evidence from the scene.
