Man accused in Evansville woman’s death to stand trial

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The case of a Tennessee man accused of murdering an Evansville woman is scheduled to go to trial in less than a month.

Quentin Bird is accused of stabbing Allison Tenbarge in April of 2017.

Tenbarge’s body was found in her apartment in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Bird was arrested a few days later.

Tenbarge was eight months pregnant at the time of the incident.

She was an Evansville native and her dad was a Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputy.
