EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A man arrested on a misdemeanor warrant Thursday is accused of trying to bring contraband into the Vanderburgh County Jail.

According to a police affidavit, Robin Scott was being booked into the jail when an officer asked him multiple times if he had anything illegal in his pockets. Scott told the officer he did not, police said.

According to police, Scott did have a glass pipe with residue in his pocket and a white crystalline substance in his right watch pocket.

The substance did not test for any known narcotics, police said, but it’s being sent to a state lab for testing.

Scott faces charges of trafficking, paraphernalia possession, and possession of a look-a-like substance.
