DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (WEHT) – A man accused of kidnapping a Hopkins County teenager made his first appearance in circuit court on Wednesday, where he pleaded not guilty to multiple charges.

Earlier this week, Glenn Harper was formally indicted on charges of kidnapping, rape, sodomy, sexual abuse, and incest.

He’s been held in the Hopkins County Jail on a bond of $150,000.

His next hearing is scheduled for August.

Police said Harper kidnapped his step-granddaughter at the end of March and took her to Alabama.

They were found days later at a Walmart in Orange Beach.
