Man Accused of Murder in Henderson Shooting Due in Court

The man accused of murder in the shooting death of Autumn Burkhart is due in court on Thursday.

Elijah Roberts is accused of being involved in the deadly shooting in Henderson, and he was previously put in jail after being released from the hospital.

Roberts faces charges of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Roberts previously entered a plea of not guilty and he currently remains in jail on bond.

Henderson Police say Roberts and Joshua Bumphus were shooting at each other when 17-year-old Autumn Burkhart was killed in the gunfire.

Bumphus is charged with assault.
