Man dies after motorcycle crash in Hancock Co.

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – A Kentucky man is dead after losing control of his motorcycle near Lewisport.

The accident happened on Sunday afternoon just before 1:45 on Highway 60 East, near Lewisport, Ky.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says Christopher C. Blake, of Hardin County, was driving east on HWY 60 with two other drivers. They say he lost control of his motorcycle and ran off the shoulder of the road, but was able to get back on the roadway.

According to deputies, the other two drivers don’t know what happened.

Deputies say then lost control again and crashed.

Blake was taken to an Owensboro hospital, where he later died.

No one else was injured in the crash.
