HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Henderson’s memorial cross display postponement did not stop one man from honoring our nation’s fallen heroes.

Seaton Norris played his bagpipes to honor those men and women. His father served in the World War II. He chose to play on the Henderson riverfront today near the Memorial for Admiral Husband Kimmel, a Henderson native.

His family also has a connection to the site. He starts his set by playing my old Kentucky home said Norris.

“This is Kentucky and I want to honor again Kentuckians, especially with what we’re going through right now. “

Norris will play his bagpipes on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at noon at Central Park.
