Man sent to hospital in Henderson shooting

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Henderson Police are searching for information in a shooting that sent a man to the hospital early Monday morning.

HPD said officers were dispatched to South Adams Street around 12:30 a.m. where they found one person covered in blood.

Police said the man, identified as Christopher Smith, had been shot in the arm. He was taken to a hospital to be treated.

The investigation is still ongoing.
