EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – An Evansville man accused in a fatal crash nearly two years ago was sentenced on Monday to one year in prison, one year of home detention, and two years of probation.
In July 2017, authorities said Justin DeClue was driving drunk along Darmstadt Rd. when his vehicle crashed head-on into another vehicle driven by Christine Long of Newburgh.
Police said DeClue’s blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit at the time.
DeClue entered into a plea agreement in June.
