Man tells police he was shot while walking in Evansville Tuesday afternoon

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A man says he was shot while walking in Evansville on Tuesday.

Evansville Police say the 26-year-old Sareyan Sa Von Woolfolk was walking near Blackford Avenue and Evans Avenue sometime between 4:30 and 6 on Tuesday afternoon, when he was shot.

Authorities say officers and detectives later interviewed the victim at St. Vincent Evansville, after he was brought to the Emergency Room by family.

The extent of Woolfolk’s injuries are unknown at this time.
