Man wanted for murder arrested in Vanderburgh County

VANDERBURGH Co., Ind (WEHT) A Louisville man wanted for murder is arrested at a gas station in Vanderburgh County.

Authorities say they received information that Anthony Allen, 44, was meeting his girlfriend, Tonya Middleton, 42, at the Pilot Truck stop on US-41 at Warrenton Road in Gibson County.

Officers say Middleton is an over the road truck driver.

Authorities followed Middleton’s tractor-trailer when it left the gas station and later pulled her over. They found Allen inside the tractor-trailer.

Allen was arrested on murder charges. Middleton was arrested for assisting a criminal. Both were taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail.
