Man wanted in Evansville shooting arrested

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a May 1 shooting.

Tyrell Jeevan Culley was booked in the Vanderburgh County Jail around 3:00 a.m. Thursday, less than 24 hours after EPD released a photo of him.

An arrest warrant was issued for the 20-year-old in connection with the shooting of Robert Johnson in the 500 block of S.E. Tenth St. earlier this month.

Culley is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon along with additional drug charges.
