EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Mayor Lloyd Winnecke announced on Tuesday that his office is currently negotiating a solution for a safer pedestrian crossing at the US 41 and Washington Ave. intersection.

The mayor’s office is negotiating with the Indiana Department of Transportation.

The mayor’s office said to stay tuned for an announcement in the near future.
