MCLEAN COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – The McLean County Sheriff’s Office says they’ve taken a McLean County High School student into custody for making statements that were “threatening in nature.”

On their Facebook page, the Sheriff’s Office said school authorities contacted them about the alleged threats on Tuesday.

The Sheriff’s Office says an investigation is being conducted.
