Meijer issues recall over contaminated apples

Meijer is issuing a recall of some of its products that contain apples.

Meijer is voluntarily recalling its store brand produce which contains sliced apples possibly contaminated with listeria.

Those items have a sell-by date of December 17-21, and were available in Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky.

The items affected are Meijer Michigan Harvest salad, Meijer Shareable Waldorf Salad, and Meijer Fresh Cranberry Apple Stuffing Starter. 

If you purchases any of these items, either throw them away or return them to for a refund.
