EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Memorial Community Development Corporation in Evansville celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The organization has provided community programs including childcare and housing since 1994.
The event was filled with proud supporters as MCDC leaders celebrated the milestone with a fundraiser lunch.
Leaders say it isn’t always easy serving the community, but it is all worth it.
“The lives that are touched and impacted and for those that do go through our processes and procedures we often feel like the benefit is not just for them but for us because they leave us restored strengthened and empowered.”
Government officials also made an appearance to show their support including Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and Mayor Lloyd Winnecke.
