The service was at Christ Community Church, with a 21 gun salute.

Six members lost thier lives last year from natural causes.
No one last year died in the line of duty.

“I think it’s very important to let the officer and their family know that we appreciate them and to let the community know what these guys do every single day. These guys leave their families everyday to protect ours,” said Chaplain Anthony Cobb.

The Kyilindi Pipe & Drums from Mt. Carmel, IL performed “Amazing Grace” at the end of the service.

This is the 34th year for the memorial.
