Memorial services announced for Dr. Rice, first USI president

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The University of Southern Indiana will hold visitation services for its founding president, Dr. David L. Rice, on Friday from 3-5 p.m.

The services are being held in Carter Hall, University Center West on the USI campus.

At 5 p.m. Friday there will be a prayer vigil.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday with visitation starting at 1 p.m.

Visitation will also take place Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at Machledt and Servies Funeral Home in Waveland, Indiana.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Monday at Machledt and Servies Funeral Home starting at 10 a.m.
