Memorial services are taking place Tuesday evening for a man authorities say is suspected of being involved in a murder-suicide.
Police say Laura and Kyle Eastwood were both found dead at an apartment in the 2800 block of Highway 60 on February 16. According to police, evidence suggests that Kyle shot and killed Laura and then turned the gun on himself.
Memorial services for Kyle are being held at 6:30 p.m. at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
A Henderson Police investigator told Eyewitness News that officers had been called to the couples' apartment on more than one occasion for domestic disputes.
We're told Laura's two children were not home at the time of the incident.
Henderson Police Lt. John Nevels said family and friends have said the couple had a volatile relationship and were fighting and arguing the past few weeks.
Lt. Nevels said Laura had busted out the windshield of Kyle's car on Wednesday, the day she died.
Investigators also said they detected arguments between the two on Kyle's phone.
Lt. Nevels said Kyle was arrested a month ago for alleged alcohol intoxication during a domestic run.
