Mesker Park Zoo announces birth of five Mexican grey wolf pups


EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Mesker Park Zoo has announced the birth of five Mexican Grey Wolf pups.

They were born on April 15, 2019.

In a Facebook post, zoo officials say it’s part of the ongoing conservation project and they’re able to reintroduce three of the pups into the wild.

The zoo says Mexican grey wolves are the most endangered wolf species with only just over 100 left in the wild.
