EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Eyewitness News’ Ron Rhodes emceed an event to help save a college radio station from being sold.

‘Radio Revival’ was an event to bring awareness to the sale of WUEV at the University of Evansville.

Several local artists including Cash Flo performed for an audience of hundreds of people to raise awareness about the sale of WUEV. Listeners only have until June 28th to write to the FCC about the sale.

In May, UE announced the sale of WUEV 91.5 to WAY-FM.

UE says it has followed proper protocol in the sale.
