Miss Vanderburgh County Queen Crowned at Fair

The 2016 Miss Vanderburgh County Queen has been named at the Vanderburgh County Fair.

Becca Lax is the new Miss Vanderburgh County Queen. She is the 19-year-old daughter of Robin Kling Lax and Rodney Lax.

She’s attending Purdue University in the fall to study aviation.

She began flying in high school and is currently preparing to take her pilot’s license test.

Becca is a graduate of FJ Reitz High School and a member of Bluegrass United Methodist Church.

She played basketball, was in choir, student council, and the National Honor Society.

Becca was also involved in Youth Resources and the Teen Advisory Council. She’s a 10-year 4-H member in the Scott Achievers Club.
