Mitch McConnell visits home of new Army headquarters

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WEHT)- U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell visited Kentucky Friday to meet members of the Fort Knox community as well as the Regional Development Alliance.

McConnell announced that the Department of the Army selected Fort Knox to be the home of the new corps headquarters.

McConnell led Kentucky’s Congressional representatives in urging the Army to locate the new corps headquarters at Fort Knox.
