Major League Baseball is going to recognize fans who have been affected by breast cancer.

Through the MLB’s 2016 Honorary Bat Girl Contest, the league will recognize one fan of each MLB club.

Fans, ages 18 and older, can share stories about themselves or loved ones by clicking here.

Teams who play home games on Mother’s Day will honor their club’s Honorary Bat Girl at that game.

Teams not hosting home games on Mother’s Day will have an alternate date selected.

A panel of judges will decide on the winning submissions.

Entries can be submitted through April 14.
