Mobile home fire sends two people to the hospital

HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) — The Robards Volunteer Fire Department says two people were sent to the hospital after an early Thursday morning mobile home fire.

The fire started shortly after 1 a.m. in the 8500 block of Highway 2096 in Robards.

The fire department says two people made it out of the home, but one person suffered serious injuries.

Crews says the mobile home is still standing, but is completely gutted.

The State Fire Marshal is expected to arrive later Thursday to determine a cause.
