WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Eight months after fire gutted a Warrick County church, the rebuilding process officially begins.
Heavy machinery clawed away what’s left of Folsomville United Church.
Flames spread from the alter to the attic, and the church has been in a battle with the insurance company.
A partial settlement helped pay for this demolition.
“We’re a very small congregation. Right now, we have 17 members, but they are dedicated members to our church. And our primary goal is to serve the community.”
The church plans to build their new church bigger than before and include a space for community events.
