WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) — More charges have been filed against a Warrick County man already accused of murder.

Prosecutors filed abuse of a corpse and obstruction of justice charges against Anthony Wolfe, Jr.

Wolfe is accused of shooting Valarie Ruark in a barn in Boonville, burning her body, then dumping it along a road near Elberfeld.

Police say Wolfe killed Ruark because he thought she was a police informant.

Wolfe is due back in court on July 10th.

Brian Baumgartner is also facing charges in connection with Ruark’s death. His pre-trial conference is scheduled for July 15th, with the trial slated for July 30th.
