More schools close due to illness


OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – At least two more school systems have cancelled class for Friday due to illness.

On Thursday, Webster County Schools announced there will be no school Friday so they could disinfect everything. School officials say Friday will be a Link2Learn day for students and staff.

Ohio County Schools also announced they will be closed Friday and Monday.

Earlier this week, Owensboro Public Schools, Daviess County Public Schools, Owensboro Catholic, Hancock County Schools, and South Spencer cancelled classes for Thursday and Friday due to illness.
