CHANDLER, Ind. (WEHT) – Despite the fact that Movieland Speedpark, formerly Chandler Speedway, is scheduled for a sheriff’s sale on September 10, owner Reno Fontana insisted in a Facebook post on Tuesday that, ‘no auction will ever occur.’

Fontana points to the fact that the track was previously listed for auction in March, but that auction never happened.

Fontana said he plans for racing to continue at Movieland Speedpark for decades to come.

He said he’ll have an update on the 2019 schedule soon.
