All Muhlenberg County Schools will be closed on Monday and Tuesday of next week due to a recent flu outbreak.
There will also be no student activities at the school from Sunday through Tuesday. Classes are expected to resume on a regular schedule on Wednesday, February 8.
This comes on the heels of Hancock County Schools closing on Thursday and Friday. That was due to outbreak of influenza, strep throat, and the stomach virus.
Officials have sanitized all the school buildings in Hancock County, and classees are expected to be back in session on Monday.
