Multiple injuries reported in Perry County accident

Perry County, Ind. (WEHT)- Indiana State Police say four people were taken to a hospital after a car went over an embankment on I-64 Friday night.

Three of the people in the car: 25-year-old John Honore, 24-year-old Asani Tujuane, and 17-year-old Mwalisha Kinozo were taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, though their condition is not known. A fourth person, 33-year-old Mami Erneste was transported to Perry County Memorial Hospital, where she later died. All four people are from Kansas City, Missouri.

An initial investigation shows the vehicle all four were riding in struck the center median cable barriers, crossed the eastbound lanes of I-64 before leaving the roadway and rolling over several times.
