Murder arrest made in connection to Nick Decker’s death

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – An arrest has been made in connection to the death of Nick Decker.

Cortemius Martez Peoples, of Bowling Green, is charged with murder, robbery, burglary and possession of a handgun by a felon.

Owensboro Police say they’re still looking for a second suspect in the case.

Peoples was caught in Bowling Green and is also a suspect in a separate robbery in Owensboro earlier this year.

A weapon police believe was used in Decker’s murder has been recovered.

The announcement was made at a news conference held by Owensboro Police on Friday afternoon.
