NAACP investigating alleged molestation

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The NAACP in Evansville has received a complaint to investigate the alleged molestation case dropped last week.

Gregory Johnston was arrested back in February for allegedly molesting a child under the age of 14.

He was facing several charges including molesting with a deadly force but those charges were dropped last Tuesday.

Now, the NAACP is conducting its own investigation into the case.

President of the Evansville Branch, Gerald Arnold, says “as with any complaint we will do a thorough investigation of this complaint. The NAACP has also contacted the Prosecutor’s Office last Wednesday and says they will continue to investigate accordingly.”
