NASA to live stream South American solar eclipse

(CNN) – Scientists and stargazers are gathered for a popular celestial event, but you don’t need to buy eclipse glasses unless you’re in South America.
The eclipse is visible in a 70-mile wide parth of totality in parts of Chile and Argentina.

Some areas experienced darkness for more than four minutes.
