OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — Dogs across Owensboro now have a new place to play.
Castlen Dog Park opened Tuesday afternoon at the northeast corner of Legion Park.
The more-than-1.5-acre attraction offers a choice of different areas for both smaller and larger dogs.
Despite Tuesday’s rain, a number of people brought their four-legged friends out to play.
A community group, which included realtor Steve Castlen, spent several years working to get a new dog park in the city.
