New heart installation comes to downtown Evansville in time for Valentine’s Day

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, a lighting installation called “The Heart of Downtown Evansville” has been installed by the Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District (EID).

It’s a 10’ x 10’ metal structure featuring a heart-shaped interior with almost 2,700 LED lights.

It was crafted by Wilde Horticulture.

The lighting installation is located in the 400 block of Main Street next to Arazu on Main Street.

It will remain on display through the 2020 Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Championships March 4-7.
