Students at New Tech Institute are delivering presentations on Tuesday to see what projects will represent the school at the University of Evansville’s Changemaker Challenge.
Community leaders are judging the presentations starting around 8 a.m.
Some of the topics covered in the presentations include gun control, high school dropouts, homelessness, and veterans with PTSD.
The Changemaker Challenge is taking place in participating high schools in Vanderburgh and Warrick counties.
Students pitch their ideas to solve challenges in the world through innovation and creativity.
The final Changemaker competition is taking place on March 17 at the University of Evansville where students will compete for a chance at winning scholarships to the university.
