Newburgh Chandler Public Library offers curbside check out

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – One library is offering a book curbside check out for their customers. The Newburgh Chandler Public Library is helping readers catch up on their favorite books.

The library director, Trista Smith, explains so many readers are ready to get books off the shelves and into their cars.

“It’s busy. We have been very busy. People are very appreciative which is so awesome. I mean we’ve gotten so much positive feedback already and this is only day two.”

When your pick-up is ready, they will notify you by an email, text, or even a phone call. Pickup is available Monday through Saturday 11 A.M. – 3 P.M. at the bell road library road. Interested readers can go online to ncplibraries.com or call (812) 853-5468 EXT. 30.
