If you’re looking for some fun Halloween festivities this weekend, you may want to go to downtown Newburgh.

On Saturday, October 27, 2018, there will be trick or treating, beginning at 2 p.m. in downtown Newburgh shops, then there will be the Ghostly Stroll Walking Parade and the fourth annual Harvest Festival.

At 2 p.m., several downtown Newburgh businesses will prepare to hand out candy to the little ones before the Ghostly Stroll Walking Parade. The parade will be led by the Little Old Dam Band, followed by parents, kids and pets dressed in Halloween attire.

If you want to have your costume judged, you must arrive no later than 2:45 p.m. in the Town Hall parking lot.

This year, the Newburgh Harvest Festival will be in the Town Hall parking lot at 23 W Jennings Street.

Harvest Festival activities will begin at 3 p.m. and last until 5 p.m. It will include free kids’ activities, crafts vendors, music, free pedicab rides and an inflatable slide.

This event is free and open to the public.
