The back story:
Gabe’s tower in Owensboro was once a beautiful hotel and many great memories were made in the 13-story building.
Once the original hotel closed, the tower became the home of Owensboro Junior College of Business from 1979 – 1983, then became a Best Western Inn for a while before being turned in to several motels and then finally closing in 2001.
