MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) — Kentucky State Police are looking for an inmate they say walked away from work release Monday night.
Troopers say 44-year-old Thomas Vaught of Central City went missing from the Muhlenberg County Agriculture Center around 9 o’clock Monday night.
Vaught reportedly got away by stealing a Dodge Ram pick-up truck, which can be recognized by a tool box and diesel tank in the back.
The front of the truck has a UK license plate.
According to the Muhlenberg County Jail website, Vaught is a non-violent offender, facing charges of Failure to Appear.
