CRANE, Ind. (WEHT) – NSA Crane issued a shelter-in-place for facilities near the intersections of Highways 99, 439, and 478 on Tuesday.

Officials are asking personnel to avoid the area until the scene is clear.

According to a Facebook post from NSA Crane, items were found that could potentially be long-buried ordnance.

It was found during a construction project and all construction near the area has been suspended.
