OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — Eyewitness News has learned an employee at O.Z. Tyler Distillery has tested positive for coronavirus.
Master distiller Jacob Call says the employee was not in the main production area, and production will continue in areas of the distillery that were not affected.
The distillery says they’ll follow CDC guidelines for cleaning and sanitation.
This is at least the second case of COVID-19 at an Owensboro distillery. The Glenmore Distillery closed Friday after a worker tested positive for the virus. It reopened Monday.
