O’Charley’s delivers food to local hospital workers

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, there are still plenty of good things happening.

Workers from the east side O’Charley’s prepared and delivered food to St. Vincent and Deaconess workers.

The free meals are part of O’Charley’s “Hometown Heroes” initiative, which is all about saying thank you to the men and women fighting this virus across the country.

“I think it’s a morale boost. They know the community supports them, they know we support them. We see them often here and want to make sure they are well taken care of,” Troy Kent with O’Charley’s said.

O’Charley’s team members also served meals to St. Vincent staff on Easter Sunday.
