Ohio Co. Sheriff: Two arrested after officers find meth, marijuana, items from church

About 10:00 on Monday morning, Ohio County Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint behind New Hope Church on S.R. 54 E in Forsdville, where they say they found a vehicle stuck in the mud.

Officers conducted a search of the vehicle, and say they located two handguns, a digital scale, suspected meth, several hypodermic needles, marijuana.

They say they also found several items in the vehicle belonging to the church.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Bobby Kehne from Bonnieville, Kentucky.

Kehne’s list of charges includes Improper Registration Plate, Possession of Meth, Trafficking, possession of drug paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Criminal Mischief and Theft by Unlawful Taking.

Also arrested was 26-year-old Amanda Jewell of Horse Cave.

Jewell is facing charges of Possession of Meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, Trafficking, Possession of Marijuana and Theft of Unlawful Taking.

Kehne and Jewell are currently lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
