Old Eggners Ferry Bridge Comes Down

An 80 year old bridge in Marshall County,  Kentucky is no longer standing.

Crews detonated explosives causing the Eggners Ferry bridge to come down after being open for a little over 80 years.

Earlier this year, the bridge was closed for crews to install a new bridge nearby.

Parts of the bridge that fell into the river will be removed by a crane.

The explosion drew quite a crowd as some viewers drove hours to see it come down.
